Over the past 16 years, my career has been deeply intertwined with advancing Diversity, Equity, Identity, and Justice (DEIJ) within educational contexts. I have championed inclusivity and support through various impactful initiatives. Notably, I have been a steadfast ally and advisor for the Middle School Gay Straight Alliance, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Additionally, I developed a High School Well-Being course with a strong focus on identity and the LGBTQIA+ community, aimed at raising awareness and fostering understanding. My collaborative efforts have also led to the creation of a comprehensive three-year identity curriculum for grades 6-8, which has been instrumental in educating and engaging students in critical conversations about identity and justice.
